Why traders choose WickSpeak
Lines that come with words
Instead of judging a line or a number by eye, each indicator says what it is doing now, how to trade it and what would cancel the idea.
Patterns found for you
From an engulfing candle to a Bat harmonic, 146 patterns are named on the candles that made them as soon as the chart opens.
Plan the trade in points
Drag from entry to target and the planner shows the stop and target in points, your size from the money or % you risk, and a score out of 100.
Odds from your own chart
See how often 1R, 2R and 3R targets were reached before the stop on this chart's past candles, and which paid best.
Test ideas without MQL4
Set up to 12 plain conditions on 12 timeframes, from 1 minute to weekly, and backtest with your costs. Mentor's Tune checks each change against extra slippage.
No install on any computer
WickSpeak runs in any web browser, and a linked cTrader account brings in your own broker's prices.
What MetaTrader 4 is known for
MetaTrader 4 from MetaQuotes is free to download, and a great many forex brokers still offer it.
It places and manages trades directly, with 2 market, 4 pending and 2 stop order types plus a trailing stop, on desktop, web, iPhone, iPad and Android.
Its MQL4 language, strategy tester, signals service and thousands of free robots and indicators in the Code Base make it a familiar home for automated forex trading.
Using both
Many traders keep MT4 for placing orders and use WickSpeak to read and score the trade first. WickSpeak's broker prices come through a cTrader account, so if your broker offers only MT4, you can still use WickSpeak's crypto charts with no broker connected, or look for a broker that offers cTrader too.

Questions traders ask
Is WickSpeak easier than MT4 for new traders?
For learning to read a chart, yes. Every WickSpeak indicator writes a plain-English reading with how to trade it and what proves it wrong, and Mentor reads each candle with the same four questions. MT4 is built for placing trades and running Expert Advisors, and leaves the reading to you.
Is MetaTrader 4 still free?
Yes. MetaQuotes offers MT4 as a free download for Windows, macOS and Linux, with apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, and you trade through a broker that supports it. WickSpeak's current offer: $59 a month (usually $119) or $599 a year (usually $1,199), with 7 days free.
Is MT4 being discontinued?
Not for traders whose broker already runs it. MetaQuotes stopped issuing new MT4 licences to brokers in 2018 and said it would keep supporting existing ones, so availability depends on your broker. WickSpeak runs in any browser and links to a cTrader account for your broker's prices.
Can I backtest on WickSpeak without coding?
Yes. Playbook builds a play from up to 12 plain conditions and backtests it on past candles with your costs, with stops in points, ATR multiples or the play's own line. On MT4, automated strategies are Expert Advisors written in MQL4 and tested in its strategy tester.
